The Incredibles, Michael’s first feature film, was released in November 2004, and was his first collaboration with director Brad Bird. The Incredibles 2, coming out this May, will mark his fifth project with Bird, following Ratatouille, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and Tomorrowland. Here is a peak at the new trailer teaser.
Last week, six film composers gathered together at Beauty and Essex in Hollywood to discuss their work, talk about the need for diversity, and the agony of waiting for inspiration for The Hollywood Reporter’s annual composer roundtable discussion. The War for the Planet of the Apes contest came to an end last week, and after judging the 10 finalists, Michael has picked James Fisenne’s creative APES/LOST Mash-up video as the winner! Congratulations to James and everyone who entered.
