This summer, the National Symphony Orchestra performed Michael’s original composition, “Advent”, commissioned by the NSO as part of the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Celebrations. You can now watch the entire performance here:

This past weekend, Michael was in Dublin for two nights of concerts celebrating his music. The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra had the honor of being the first to perform new music from the upcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home, and the suite was live-streamed which you can watch on the official Spider-Man Facebook page.
Michael will be joining filmmaker Brad Bird at the 2019 View Conference, held in Turin, Italy, this fall. The conference, which focuses on visual effects, animation, gaming, and other forms of visual media, will take place from October 21-25, and Michael will be giving a keynote address, as well as performing a concert of his work. Michael will be conducting his “Star Trek Into Darkness, and Beyond” suite with the Nevada Pops Orchestra on Saturday, August 4th, as part of the 2018 Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. Michael’s new concert piece, “Voyage”, was performed last month at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., with the National Symphony Orchestra Pops. The piece was commissioned by the National Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the founding of NASA. Now you can watch the performance here:
