I was thrilled to return to one of my favorite Marvel characters, Peter Parker. Spider-Man: Far From Home follows the harrowing events of Endgame and at this point, Peter just needs a break from the grownup world of super-heroing so he can find the opportunity to reveal his feelings for the girl he loves while away on a class trip to Europe. With Peter’s ever growing world in flux, I get to develop the themes written for the last film, finding ways to express his love for MJ and to bring in fresh ideas for new characters like Mysterio.
