Last night Michael won the Annie Award for “Outstanding Achievement, Music in an Animated Feature Production” for his score to Incredibles 2.
Michael was recently interviewed by Gold Derby editor Joyce Eng at a special composer’s panel in Los Angeles.
In advance of next month’s Incredibles 2 release, Pixar has released a batch of “vintage” toy commercials for your favorite super, with new theme songs written by Michael. Read about them here!

The Incredibles, Michael’s first feature film, was released in November 2004, and was his first collaboration with director Brad Bird. The Incredibles 2, coming out this May, will mark his fifth project with Bird, following Ratatouille, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and Tomorrowland. Here is a peak at the new trailer teaser.
