Michael returns to Medal of Honor – in virtual reality!

Michael has returned to the Medal of Honor video game series!  13 years after Medal of Honor: Airborne, Michael has provided themes for the new virtual reality game Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.  Coming out on December 11, 2020, the game will take players right into the action in World War II on their VR headsets, bolstered by the emotional music.  A soundtrack will be coming out on the same day from Lakeshore Records, and a single of his main theme has been released – check it out here! 

 

Michael has a new Christmas single!

Michael has released a new single in time for the holidays. “Christmas Number One” is now available on all major streaming/download platforms.

The song, co-written with the songwriting team of Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, is performed by UK-based band Itchy Teeth, and produced and arranged by John Robert Wood. Michael had collaborated with Ms. Samsel and Ms. Anderson to write a song for a Christmas Variety Show he hosted at the
Royal Albert Hall last December.

Michael’s “Voyage” concert piece to be released

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, as part of their celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, will be releasing a new studio album featuring the original concert work “Voyage”, which Michael wrote and premiered last year at the Kennedy Center. Called “Voyage”, the album will be released on July 5 and feature other space-themed compositions, including music from TV shows as well as music from Michael’s Star Trek (2009) and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
