Don’t miss a live music-and-movie event that features a catchy score and a heartwarming animated adventure that kids of all ages will love.

Visually rich, funny and a little macabre, the 2017 animated film Coco follows a 12-year-old boy who is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, where he must find his great-great-grandfather, a deceased musician, in order to return to the Land of the Living. Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Héctor (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Bring your whole family to a live screening accompanied by the San Francisco Symphony performing Michael Giacchino’s score in its entirety.
